Managing Director – Originations
As Managing Director – Originations for Electra Capital, Eugene is responsible for sourcing, credit analysis, pricing, structuring, and closing debt & equity transactions.
Eugene has financed over $500 million of complex floating- and fixed-rate commercial real estate transactions in his career and brings over a decade of experience to Electra along with a vast network of CRE relationships. Before Electra, Eugene was a Senior Vice President of Originations at Inland Mortgage Capital, a subsidiary of the Inland Group where he specialized in commercial real estate debt secured by multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and self-storage properties nationwide. During his tenure at Inland Mortgage Capital, he was responsible for over 40% of total production volume and opened several key markets to IMC including San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco CA, and the state of Hawaii. Prior to Inland, Eugene was a Director at Continental Partners, a boutique investment banking firm based in Los Angeles CA where he originated debt and equity nationwide for all property types and worked closely with both Sponsors and capital sources such as Life Companies, CMBS Conduits, Banks, Bridge Funds, REITs and Private Money Lenders. Prior, he served as Vice President of originations for LaSalle Debt Investors (formerly Latitude Management Real Estate Investors) where he originated over $50 million of transactions within an 11-month period and was responsible for sourcing, analysis, pricing, underwriting, & closing debt transactions. Eugene began his career at Thorofare Capital in 2011.
Eugene has earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree, emphasis in Marketing & Real Estate from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
